10 round magazine or capacity max, permit from sheriff with background check to purchase any kind of gun, pass safety training class to get permit to buy. Minnesota had the permit from sheriff law when I bought my last gun, took two days from filling out form at police station to getting permit in mail if I remember correctly, wasn't a big deal. Big pro control argument is reducing guns lowers suicide rate. How many people have shot themselves over 10 times?

Read a story about a guy in NYC who managed to cut his own head off with a Skilsaw. People blamed the mob for that since he allegedly had ties but it was passed off as accidental. OK.

See in the news the Army is having a problem with inadequate enlistments. Army ad: a girl with 2 moms does good in the nice army. Navy and Marines: traditional style you'll join can do tough people. Funny, Marines and Navy get enough people...

I believe overall enlistments are down but the downturn has been worse for the Army due to previous operational tempo and the potential for future conflict.

Watched my Sparty's lose today. Bummer. It snowed while we were in the pub..... drove home and came to my enterance to the subdivision and snow covered slick roads took me into a street sign. Kinda tore up the right front bumper..... I was pissed. Not going fast, not too much to drink, nothing foolish except for slick road. I'll go back out tomorrow and inspect the damage and see how bad it is. Got some dangling parts there so I'll have to tie those up. Damn...pissed!
