Morning, Mick.
Not from yesterday thankfully, just had to move some clothing and a couple small items. And I get to miss the big move today! Whew!

I used to see a bald eagle from time to time when we had the far,. I think there was a nest nearby at a lake. I would see him/her soaring around over the lake sometimes. I lived just under a mile from that body of water and one day right next to where I turned off to my property there was some roadkill on the shoulder. The eagle was dining on it. I was in the lane opposite and I slowed down to a crawl and just eased by. He/she kept an eye on me but never flew away. I was no more than 30 feet away as I passed. You are right, it was about 3 feet tall standing there. It is hard to appreciate how big they are when you see them flying.

Morning folks, exciting morning at work. Apparently there was gobs of mega infighting among upper management the last few hours of last week which resulted in the loss of a key DOD employee who quit which could potentially shut us down. Coffee cup and gas tanks full so I’ll just lean back, start sipping and watch the show.

an early retirement might be in order! LOL
