Saw something Friday that is rare in my area. A full grown Bald Eagle. Not sure if he was passing thru or if he's wintering here, but damn he was big! Not sure if he caught something, but he was on the ground in a pasture, and he looked like he was 3 ft tall.

One I saw was a lot bigger than that Ken.

They do get big females can be 43" tall with a wing span of 8 feet. Males are slightly smaller.
