This time of year I try to refrain from riding after dark on certain roads because of the deer. Just this week a guy at the golf club was talking about a deer running out from the woods and across the road right in front of him and the second one hit his vehicle broadside. I have seen numerous dead on the shoulder in the last few weeks within a few miles of our house in all three directions. They tend to get themselves killed and sometimes take a human out as well.

 

couldn’t you just wait for a strong wind to blow all those leaves into the neighbors yard .

Rainy and windy today. Supposed to clear up next couple days and warm up a tad....maybe more leaves will fall so I can rake those up for disposal. Dang tree still has half its leaves on it yet! And I won't rake in the rain.
Greg.... I see deer every now and again in my neighborhood. We are in an area just outside of town, and populated pretty good. But those pests seem to hang around us and pester the dogs!!!

 

Eavning all. Had a good turnout. Got more money donated for student labor. It was nice to see some of my former students show up!
