TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
dunno how I would feel losing a nephew. Our family ain’t all huggy , freely. Ever since the patriarchy died. We kinda just drifted from each other.
I’ll be praying for you and your loss Stephen

I know most of you guys have ridden the Dragon, but damn, after multiple trips I never tire of that area.

Last week Greg.
Rained on us all the way thru Arkansas. Sunny and 82° when we hit Maggie Valley. Cold front cut our trip short and we hauled *** home and got back yesterday.

Of note - Just read about someone over by Cades Cove (close) that did a fast food run with his bagger. Naturally, took the food out of the bags and had dinner in the cabin. Bike was parked outside overnight and some bears decided to maul the bike trying to get at food. Bike got knocked over and clawed all over the place. Elsewhere there is video of the idiot tourists at Cades trying to pet the cuddly black bears. Cheryl and I saw that last time we were there. Damn idiots.

Which part?
When we went through Yellowstone we came back to our bike and the rack pack had been raided. Stuff laying all around the bike - bandanas, gloves, suntan lotion. Turns out the ravens are pretty smart and know how to work zippers. They were trying to find food and threw all our **** on the ground. Better than a bear, that's for damn sure.

Great pics Jack. I have a few from times gone by. Last time I was down there was with Chuck a couple years back. It was colorful like that. I love riding that area. Especially in the Fall.
