TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
When I was a young man I would sometimes visit my Dad at work at Miller Brewery. He had a fridge in his office stocked full of Miller beer provided free. We would sit there and have a few beers in his office and shoot the ****. I miss those days.
edit - Cool gun Stan. How does one load a belt for that?

Everyone complains about Harley dealers being stand-offish, un-caring about customers, rip offs, etc. My local dealer, Capitol HD has something going on most every saturday for the customers. November 11 is a power train workshop. Will cover Screaming Eagle stuff, Baker trans stuff, and Stage 1 thru 4 upgrades. They do try to keep customers in the loop and informed on many things. I have plans to go to this workshop! I do like my local dealer....staff is friendly and will always stop to talk with you!!
Just an FYI that they aren't all bad!!!

Chris, your food story reminds me of one of my own. How I'm not certain but let's pretend.
Many years ago my first wife was in Junior League. So there were, 25 or so couples, 20 or so pissed off husbands.
The food is on an island type buffet in the hotel, we guys get hungry and in we go. After about 12-15 of us had gone through and taken a generous portion of what appeared to be a lovely squash concoction the hotel attendant lady said....Oh my god, they've eaten most of the macaw's food. Sure enough, in the lobby...alive and squawking...a macaw.

Kristi will be gone at the same time…
Sausage tortellini soup will be dinner at some point....and biscuits.
I just realized my SGS did not come with a rain sock for the screaming eagle air filter, I should look into getting one.
