Used to get Trader Joe's occasionally, thought some of their beans were really good. Daughter gave me a Black Rifle company subscription last Christmas, also good stuff, so now I just pick my beans up at the front door or sometimes the mailbox. Ground coffee is never as good as fresh ground bean.
I don't feel like a lost sheep, probably very much a lone wolf compared to most folks I know. Nothing wrong with that if it suits you. My Mom was in a nursing home by that age, brother & wife tried taking care of her but were exhausted after a couple years, never got enough sleep - Mom couldn't get up to go to the bathroom by herself, and that was 2-4 times a night. Their Doc finally said people their age would ruin their health trying to care for an invalid at home, put her in a nursing home, so they finally did. She made it to 89.

Evening folks and yessir, nothing like fresh ground. I got a cousin looking after her mother, (my aunt/my moms sister) and between looking after her and maintaining the 20 acre spread my aunt (who suffered a massive stroke) doesn't want to sell? It's stressing their marriage after 3 years of dealing with bathing, feeding and medicating her. I pray the good Lord doesn't stretch my mom out like that. I feel bad enough that we only get over there once a week but the good news is the tires on her Camry that were at 27psi are now at a healthy 35psi and all her fluids are good.
