TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
Evening gents! We just got back from a rousing spin class session and are enjoying the liquid rewards after a productive day. And I'm not talking about the rain. Which it is. Below 3500 feet.
Chili is on the stove. Perfect for a cool rainy night.

She also included cabbage rolls as a side.
TOAK Tip: Don't feed cabbage to rabbits, it is fatal. They are incapable of belching the gas it creates, thereby threatening the world supply of keychains.

If you're talking about the 1958 movie with Kirk Douglas, I agree. Saw it first run in a theater, remember thinking it was awesome. Loved the theme music. Saw it on streaming sometime back, still thought it was a good watch.

Another day rained out. Got Carol, fixed salmon, shrimp and spicy hot vegetable stew with a bit of pork for lunch and watched a movie. Tried getting her to use the roku remote (just like her tv's) but I think that kind of thing is beyond her now. Sad, my 7 year old granddaughter has been flipping through all the streaming channels for at least a year - and admitted to me she goes down in the basement and watches movies when her siblings and parents are asleep so nobody bothers her. You watched what!
I need to do something about her undriven car, will try to siphon 5 gallons next visit, put it in my truck, do shopping and back and forth to my house in her car. Has a full tank of year old gas, probably not a good idea to let it winter over with that old gas, although I've started and driven cars and bikes with at least 2 year old gas with no problem. Would like to get it down to at least 1/4 tank before putting new gas in.

When I was going to pick up Carol, got about 10' from the Ram and the horn started beeping. None of the usual procedures, locking doors, starting it, key fob buttons would stop it, after a couple minutes disconnected the battery that had nuts neither metric or SAE wrenches would fit. This makes at least the 3rd vehicle I've had that I had to pull the horn relay to keep from having random neighborhood wake ups. Wonder where the horn relay is, didn't feel like spending any more time in the rain than I had to. I hate those factory alarms, mine hasn't been the one in the neighborhood that sounds off any hour of the day. Either that or no horn. Can't remember the last time I tried to use a horn anyway.
