Tim - I see on Canadian news on Utube they're trying to take hunting rifles away. Again? Seems some Canadians are forgetting their polite over that. Be interesting if that happened and the provinces west of the Ontario border said we ain't Canada no more!
Unfortunately when it comes to Bike Week in Daytona you have to see the bad in order to see the good. There is a lot of both. We skipped it this fall maybe we will go over in the Spring. I have been so many times since moving down here in 1984 that I am sure I have seen some of elderly Hogans when they were on a much younger frame. I always appreciate the enthusiastic participation no matter the product.
After we got back from the funeral we saddled up and went to dinner. A friend came over and rode with us. The weather is so perfect right now. A beautiful setting sun on the way to the joint and 69F with clear night skies on the way back. It has be chamber of commerce weather for those that decided to attend Biketoberfest. October is was hot as July.

I was helping the neighbor build a fence this evening. He wants a privacy fence around his pool. Fortunately, he had all the posts in the ground so there really wasn’t much to it other than cutting the rails to length, clamping the rail to the post mount,, leveling the rail, drilling pilot holes and then driving the screws for the rails. We should finish it up in the morning and then he can install the pickets at his leisure.
We have high straight line winds out here, regularly exceeded no 50 MPH (80 MPH is the record according to our weather station) during storms so he has to build his fence right and it appears he is.
