All ca taxes that you wood pay in CA and a smog test even if it was new. It was easy plus I got exactly the vehicle that I wanted.

You pay the California taxes and fees while you are at the dealership in Utah. Then they cut you a check that you take to the California dmv. It was easy.

Howdy Greg...gents!

Got a spectacular ride in today. I was just running the old BMW up to a pure gas station in the sticks I go to, and on my way home I got lost. I took a turn I was sure I had taken before and after 10 minutes I had no idea where I was. But it was beautiful. It was a 2 lane, curvy road running between creeks and the mountains. So I enjoyed being lost. At one point I was able to see Mt St Helens, Mt Adams (which I don't see often) and Mt Hood. I may just look for a piece of land in that area. It's like paradise.
