My only complaint about The Pacific is that we watched it after Band of Brothers. It just does not compare. BoB is like watching Saving Private Ryan for 10 hours whereas The Pacific is like watching Pearl Harbor for 10. And the latter was pushing it at 2 hours.

Read helmet for a pillow by Eugene Sledge and Black sands. Both great books that the movie was based on.
