TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
So I got this old Cort (used to be Cortez Guitars) and some dilweed grandson sold the company name to Kmart way back when and in an act of shear disgrace The Cortez family bought their own brand back and resurrected it but lost their name in the process rebranding their company as simply "Cort". I was loaded for bear that day looking at $1,200 Taylors and $800 Seagulls but this $350 Cort stole my heart in both how it played and sounded...
12 years later it blew a tuner so I replaced them all with a set of Ping's on my kitchen table and super glued toothpicks in the old screw holes and stained and finished as best I could on a kitchen table...
Still have, play and love this guitar but it's been relegated to my beater when I acquired the following...
"Used Gear" Taylor...
And Lord do I love strumming the Taylor...oh...I'm sorry...do we "Do Acoustics" here?

Don't think I posted this here the other day. Don't get this kind of photo op with granddaughter around here.

Wonder how that Harley 4 wheeler would do on trails through the woods. Probably couldn't keep up with side by sides, those things can really hammer over rocky ground. I also found out you can drift them on corners on pavement...
William, I just got done slogging through your rear shock thread, (no offense, they all turn out that way).
Anyway, I bought a set of Bitubo shocks off another member and I really like them on my RGU. Give DKCustoms a call, they're good people and will help you make the right choice.
