TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
Moring gents!
@Backforty - It happens Chuck. I put Cheryl on her *** a few weeks back doing a u-turn in a sketchy road. I've made turns like that countless times but this time I lost confidence and grabbed the front brake - down we went. It was a zero mph drop, but Cheryl flopped like a soccer player and I still get to hear about it. I never hit the ground, which didn't help my situation.
Sad truth is I haven't been riding the RK anywhere near as much as the dirt bike and I feel my low speed/heavy bike skills have suffered as a result.

Morning, morning Woods. Enjoying a cool morning on the porch with the windows open and the air handlers OFF.

I'm not looking down, John, just stating a preference. No question that at times heavy metal resembles music.

It is a collaborative effort.
We awarded style points each time, Greg. I liked the Phoenix rising from a cloud of dust one best.

Good morning all. It is beautiful this morning and the wife is sleeping it away. I would love to be out there riding right now.
I remember when I was introduced to welding in junior high school in metal shop class. I was in the 7th grade and 13 years old. I absolutely loved it. It sent me on my life's trajectory that brought me to where I am at now. I joined the US Navy and chose Hull Maintenance Technician because they were the welders. I worked as welder after the service but life took me down a different path once we moved to Florida n 1984. I did take a side gig for a short stint doing some assembly line type stuff for a friend's company back in the late 80's but only until he found someone. That was the last of my welding days. Your pictures remined me of myself back then.

He meets with the navy and coast guard recruiter next week. He really likes welding.

The obvious power loop in the gravel was a nice touch as well.
