It's scarred and beat up from busting mountain brush, no matter, it's retired anyway.

I have to remind you guys how big a charging grizzly can be, and how damn fast and scary. The fewer shots to eliminate the threat the better because if that animal gets to you, you are going to get messed up. I can’t stress enough the need to go overkill on this one.
If you can, a 408 mm Ruger is the best choice.

A pistol in all reality ain't worth a damn against a Grizzly bear, but it's better than nothing. A hand cannon is uncomfortable as hell to shoot and probably not very accurate if you were being charged by a bear.
If I lived and worked in Grizz country I would be toting a 12 gauge shotgun loaded with 00 buck. I wouldn't want a pistol that would **** him off, I would want to turn his Goddamn face into jelly.
Taken in Montana a few months ago. Would you shoot him with a pistol? LMAO.....

How I got my match grade M1 Garand. Old boy specifically left all the hardware to me, not the other SIL. Picked up a few nice toys.

Grizz aren't the brightest but even they wouldn't go up against that....
I've packed this gun all over the Rocky Mountains hunting elk. A bow is a lethal weapon, this pistol was for personal protection. Back in the 90's this was my go to. Ruger Redhawk, 44 mag. Damn thing feels like it weighs 10 lbs. It was a beast to pack around. One year watching The Outlaw Jose Wales gave me an idea, and I strapped the holster to the tree of my saddle so I wouldn't have to tote it. Only did that one year. Too many ways to get in a wreck on horseback and lose my gun when I may need it most, so I just continued to tote it.

The 365 isn't better than the Hellcat or vice versa. two very similar guns that appeal to the individual. I auditioned both extensively and settled on the Hellcat for the pure and simple reason that I hit better with it. I have the Shield SMc red dot and it's a great daily carry gun. But the 365 is just as good for the people that prefer it. By my estimation you can't go wrong either way.
Stan, Stan, Stan....
Do I really need to point out the size difference? And that, if you're comparing apples to apples, the Hellcat Pro is dimensionally identical to the XL and has a 17 rd mag?
I like the Hellcat for it's very concealable size combined with a more than adequate capacity. It was a significant upgrade from my 8 round single stack Shield. I also love the U-notch rear sight. But I have the red dot so it's not as big a deal as without the red dot.
