Been 45 years since I partook in any illegal substances, A little moonshine 2-3 times a year and that's about it.

About a year later a stopped drinking alcohol because of some medication I was taking for a short period. I was just a casual drinker and I just never started back. I was a non-drinker and decided I would start back when I retired. I semi-retired in 2020 and felt that was close enough to retirement and I started having an adult beverage or two socially. I went straight back to Yuengling.

I ordered a Modelo in a Mexican restaurant over a year ago and I like it so much that it dethroned Yuengling. Modelo is a pilsner and Yuengling is a Lager. I figured I must like pilsner better than a lager. I am at the grocery store a couple months back and noticed Yuengling makes a Golden Pilsner so I picked up a 12-pack to give it a try. I really like it and I may even like it better than Modelo. I think I like my money going to Yuengling as well. I hope it is an offering that is steady and not some seasonal deal.

I doubt it will be offered in restaurants and bars as Yuengling Lager is so I will probably still order a Modelo when available but when I hit Publix for beer it will be Yuengling Golder Pilsner first and Modelo second.

You just haven’t lived until you’ve had some of this…

Picked up 2 of my guitars from the luthier, the fretboard is a dance floor for the fingers. He got to talking and told me how he got established. He worked on a banjo for Steve Martin before he hit it big. He says when he did, that he name dropped him to anyone he knew who played banjo. I'd like to get him to sit down for a few drinks, but he seems really skittish about being around people. I think the rona scares him
