I’m still taking antibiotics because my cheek continues to be swollen in one area. Smaller than it was when at the worst it went all the way up to my ear and caused some intermittent dizziness. Thank goodness for amoxicillin.

A little while back I mentioned I'd seen The Pacific before. Watched the first two episodes tonight and it wasn't the series I thought it was, haven't seen it before. Despite being a different war and the usual "only in Hollywood" stuff, it triggered some memories. It did have something I've seldom if ever seen in a movie, tracers drifting off in the distance like a glowing ball instead of the usual Hollywood laser line, and that's what they usually look like, even when they're coming at you, although the show had plenty of those, too.

I know, tracers on film can look like streaks, but unless they're Russian movies, they're just special effects, why not make them look real.

Have to admit, they still did a better job than I did with a hand held camera one night.
