I bet I know what happened.
Right after Al passed away I sent his family a link to the TOAK and the link had the active gif as the thumbnail. I was embarrassed as hell to have sent that to Al’s grieving family but in some sense, Al probably loved it and laughed his *** off.
Anyway, the easiest action was to delete the first post albeit somewhat lazy. I’m sure that was on the front page of HDF and our secretary just didn’t have the Page 23 credibility that HDF is striving for?

Really, I think it’s as innocuous as just cleaning the front porch. If that was in the second post, there would be no issue. Business decision.

Probably right. The TOAK has more views and posts than almost any other thread and why take a chance on one of your largest draws offending someone?
