I just recently a phone call from the VA. I have been increased to 80% and will be getting back pay as well.

It was an unexpected call.

 

Morning Gents

You guys get to be my confessional today, my head is in a million places these days and I need to get it together. Just blew thru a red light 30 minutes ago, narrowly avoided t-boning somebody with the two of us screeching to a halt. It was some 90's sedan, my truck would have steam rolled right through that thing in a bad way.

100% my fault and I/we got extremely lucky. Really pissed at myself honestly as there's no excuse for it, I need to pay attention to what the F I'm doing... it wasn't even a yellow - to - red, just red...

Even before that, rough start to the day.

I can, and it’s scary. Driving my semi at 60,000 lbs on average I can’t tell you how many times I went thru a light, at speed limit, and wondered what the color was and should I have stopped?!

 

Note to self , when riding behind Jack, OG Mark, Russ and maybe Mick, stay a good distance back and watch out for parts !.
