Yesterday, we landed at DFW on time and taxied to our gate. As soon as the seat belt “ding” went off, it was like the starting pistol of a track meet. Young, entitled asshats (Americans) literally were running to the front of the plane…until I stood up and blocked that bullshit. Young woman says “excuse me” and I replied with “there is no excuse for that”. She states that they have another flight which I called BS on because they still have immigration and customs to clear. Not to mention that American Airlines baggage handlers are the slowest in the business.

Loud enough for her companions to hear, I told her, and everyone else within earshot, that she and her friends were being rude and that they owed everyone on that flight an apology for their selfish display. She just lowered her head, wouldn’t look me in the eye and mumbled “yessir”.

I let everyone in the 12 rows in front of me clear, helped my aged row mate with her bags from the overhead and slowly strolled off the plane. People suck and narcissists suck even more.

 

Oh? Are the Giants impressing? The other team from New York is struggling against the defensive onslaught.

Absolutely. I enjoyed the game. Many mistakes were made, but that's to be expected with a young team. I was surprised that they just gave away three points by letting the clock run down at field goal time. That's on LaFleur. Had they got that, it may have been enough for a win, but who knows? But I was encouraged by the good plays. I think they have a great 4 years of steady growth to look forward to.

 

No football watching today.
Season end work at the quarter, took the boy’s dog with me, changed around game cameras, cut grass at home and now hopefully relax time. Been a busy weekend. Again.
