Chuck, I’m still unclear on why the tire dealer couldn’t change the tires on your truck without damaging your rims. You said it was because of the “reverse of the front wheels” which I am assume you mean the opposite rotation of the lugnut? I’m certain their impact wrenches have a reverse don’t they?
No, what I mean by reverse is, you see how the mounting surface of the front wheels is “proud “ to edge of the rim. When you put the wheel on the machine to dismount & mount the tires , the tools come in contact with the wheel surface. Walmart was not the only place that told me great care must be taken when handling this kind of wheel to avoid damage. Apparently they didn’t trust themselves to be able to pull it off .
