I'm still looking for a job. I've been applying for any role I even have a remote chance of being able to perform. I had a few interviews but they all passed me up. In the meantime, I've taken a few online courses. Hell I even got a cert from Coursea.org for Fundamentals of Red Hat Enterprise Linux which was pretty much an intro to RHEL but its something with which I can pad my resume. Next week I'm taking the exam for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. Like the RHEL cert I got, the Practitioner cert (if I pass) just says I have a basic high level understanding of the whole AWS galaxy. After the AWS exam, I'll do a self study course & practice exams for an A+ cert. I had one back in the glory days of the helpdesk but it has long since expired. Not sure where those will get me but can't hurt.

Also been busy getting the place ready for Beth's parent 45th anniversary party at the end of the month. As part of that prep we've been trimming tree limbs & hedges, etc.. We bought a Ryobi mini-chainsaw which is perfect for the trees
& limbs in our yard. Benjamin likes using it, too.

Mr Pop is doin well down in Fountain. He's been fixing up the tint home on the property & used his John Deere tractor to mow some trails on his property & started digging a mud pit, too. The JD Gator might not be that much fun for muddin but should be good for cruising the trails.

I had check up with my neurologist. I've been having balance issues & my short term memory is ****, like I'm a pothead & can't hold a thought more than 5 seconds. Doc said the balance can be improved with PT, so I have weekly appointmentas for that going forward. The memory thing they think is my ADHD but its getting worse. I've left a stove burner on with no pan on it twice in the last week. Missed appts, forgot chores, etc... If I'm this f'ed up now, God help Beth when I'm a drooling idiot in 5 years.

Thats about all worth chatting about. I'll pop in for any interesting updates as they unfold.

Hey, Stan. I'm vacillating between adult/non adult stuff. Too rainy outdoors. I'd consider surprising Sherri by baking something but "I wish you'd stop wasting food" last time wasn't encouraging.
