TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
My 2011 Ultra had a Dark Horse crank and they are the only people I would buy from. To illustrate how close HD is tied to them, when my Ultra spun the crank (after a stage 3 107 build using S&S parts by the dealer I bought it from), I was given the choice of a replacement pinned HD stock crank or they send the spun crank to dark Horse and i pay $300 for the upgrade. No brainer. So it was a HD authorized warranty fix.
It's hard for folks who haven't been to Wisconsin to understand how a northern state that is under a blanket of snow for half the year could be such a motorcycle mecca. But it is, all thanks to the Harley and Davidson families. They spun off a LOT of motorcycle related industry in Wisconsin. Because of that rich history there isn't a moment during the summer that you don't hear a Harley exhaust somewhere. I do miss that aspect of Wisconsin.
Maybe. I haven't had the courage to open it.

S&S and Dark Horse are both Wisconsin companies. That's not by coincidence. S&S has collaborated on many projects behind the scenes with HD. A lot of the prototype stuff was made by them. I bought my Bad Boy from a retired S&S engineer, who also worked here and for HD. I knew it was a good bike based on that alone.

Hey Bob.... I used to fill those milk cans with fresh milk when I was a kid. Those were considered Grade B milk containers.

Doesn't S&S actually make engine parts for the MOCO? I think they do, unless I am mistaken.
BUCS WIN!!! It was not pretty but the squeaked it out. Baker Mayfield is sketchy but the defense looks pretty damn good. In fairness he buckled down when it counted and protected the ball. They did the right thing giving him only a one year contract. I hope he does well.

Got the Randall set up, not sure where I'll put the marshall. Going to have to get a ladder for the shelves. Next is a dart board, then pool table and beer fridge
