I have a few not very good memories of Austin. Trying to remember a good one, thinking... thinking...
@Imold - The TW200 is a great bike. Yes, they really hold their value. Seems a 1998 bike costs the same as a 2014 bike. I wanted to get one for Cheryl so she could join me on some off pavement adventures and she declined. I suspect we are both better off for it.
Not when I was there, but I remember there were some nice ones other places in Texas, even Killeen. Waco had a street with probably around two dozen wimen walking in the street and talking to anyone that rolled their window down. They were all black, ugly and I left my window up. Only went to Waco that one time. Not for the ugly wimen, though.
Hope it at least helped clear your head Chris.
Went to my riding buddy's and helped check his boat out. The battery chargers would not work because the old battery was 100% completely dead. The new battery was in the boat. He stepped away to get something, and I got down and checked the connections. Strange.... the heavy red wire was connected to a (-) terminal and the heavy black wire was connected to a (+) terminal. He called me a liar and troublemaker!!! ONce he really really saw what he had done, he switched and engine turned over!! We agree the old battery was more than likely reversed terminals and he simply hooked up same way. Regardless he was happy and gave me a beer!!! Mission accomplished!! Simple things guys.......
