I picked up my new glasses today. I used to wear glasses some but have not worn any in 20 years. I wear only one contact so I can see both distance and near. Every so often I switch which eye I wear it in but I do seem to prefer the left for some reason. A six pack of lenses will last me well over a year. I was down to one contact lens and kept forgetting to pick some up. The other night I rubbed my eye and it got all squirrely in there. I had a hellava time getting it back around and out. I cleaned it, popped it back in and everything was fine. It occurred to me that if it had torn I would have been without and I had no glasses to wear. I have some old ones but they are way too strong because my vision corrected along about 2007 and has never slipped since. So I went to the local optical place and ordered a pair. They work nicely but I still think I will prefer the one contact routine in general. The irony is when I bought the glasses I asked the young lady if they had the lenses in stock and they did not. But she said she could give me some of the free trials. There are no difference between the freebies and the others except the box is yellow for trials. My actual eye doc normally gives me a set of trials that tide me over for months. She gave me a whole six pack so I have enough for a couple of years if my eyes don't slip or improve.

I'm getting ready to head out. If it's GoPro brand, download the QUIK app on your phone and connect them. Then you can update the firmware and adjust all setting from your phone.
