Audrey (daughter) wants me to bring the Ural to a resort up north next month, and I think a trail bike would be fun to bring, too (lot of trails up there). Been checking CL for TW200's, usually in the 4K range even 25 years old. One near me today, 2012, $4K, less than 1000 miles, thinking of taking a look, probably find out it has original tires . My 14 year old grandson would love it, I'm sure. Been a few years since we've gone out together with the Ural, but he liked it, and was able to drive it when he was 7. Only problem with a trail bike here, no trails anywhere I could take it for a day. If the last 20 years are an indication, I could keep it 5 years and sell it for near what I paid for it, or even more. Just thought of that - late now, I'll call him tomorrow. I used to love off roading on bikes. The TW200 (Yamaha) would be easy for an old man, when the grandson wasn't using it. Sure would be fun to take the TW and another bike with him to the Black Hills for 2 or 3 days next spring. Audrey would probably say I have to take the whole tribe, she's been wanting to go back since WS2018.

Thinking of the grandson riding, an old memory came back. I may have mentioned this before. When my brother was 11, heard the bike (Honda 50, not auto, a 4 speed with clutch) fire up and take off. Ran to the window in time to see him heading down the road. He'd never ridden or even kick started, it before, just watched me and figured it out. Didn't piddle around like a newbie, either, gunned it up to 4th and was gone. Mom had a fit, I was proud of him. Has an M8 softtail now. That was 59 years ago.

That's 14 year old grandson several years ago, below in the sig pics. He's driving the Ural with Mom in the sidecar. The little devil was just supposed to pose for a photo but took off, with both of them laughing. I have photos of that, but I've posted them before.

Evening Gents. Just rolled in from the great north.
Beautiful day here, a good day to say goodbye and all went well.
I see there is another Mexican delicacy I need to become familiar with. LOL
Shuffle tomorrow...G'nite.
