Morning BroDad and Brian, and the rest!

Brian, that road is enviously gorgeous!

Re-morning Woods.
Finished writing my cousin's eulogy that another cousin, his sister, requested for the funeral Thursday. Honored and saddened by the task. Wayne was only 6 years older than I, and always was my favorite "cool city cousin".

Good Morning upbeat Chris - Far from the most beautiful part of that ride, but I haven't figured out the art of stopping at the scenic spots. Too busy hammering. Then I pass by a good spot, too stubborn to turn around, and tell myself I'll just stop at the next one I see. Either way, it was all good

Stan, a sad but honorable task. I'm sure you will do right for your cool city cousin. My condolences to your family

The holiday is definitely over... trying to button up a success story from last week at work. I've been after this contractor for a couple of years, called me last week in a jam, and it's looking like we'll be able to do help the guy out. He's got a pretty big water main replacement job depending on it and I really want to get this done

I'm not aloud to discuss it, but... Things are changing at shuffle for me. Apparently, I did make a difference. We'll see.

That's great Chris. Hoping for the best for you. Job satisfaction is as important as it is elusive.

Stan, that is truly an honor. My condolences, to you and yours. I'm sure you'd make him proud.

I have the same issue. There's a cemetery in Menard. We passed it once headed to San Angelo. I have wanted to go back and take photos for well over a year and have not been back. Recently, I found Highway 1341 to be an amazing route and found so many places I wanted to stop, but was having too much fun to slow down. I'm making it point to go back within the next few weeks and get photos and video of the area before the weather changes.

I take my wins as I can get them. Odds are it will go to **** before it gets better though. So, everything I can grasp to, I do. I really want a cigar, unrelated...

Now that I've trimmed one up and smoked it, I know some areas I can improve next time. All things considered, it came out awesome and my taste testers at least made me feel good and said it was one of the best they've ever had. I made burnt ends out of the point and that was a huge hit.

Fresh off, pre-cooler

Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of the burnt ends, or the freshly sliced brisket, but this is probably a couple hours after I sliced up what we ate.

Found some new local-ish roads that are worth hitting again
I sure hope you didn’t drop that knife.
