I replaced no parts on my truck today, but I did manage a couple hundred miles of wind therapy.

My hiking days are long over. 5 or 6 years walked well over a mile with Audrey and feet hurt halfway through and for a few days after. In 2003 we walked several miles around lower Manhattan and it took a few weeks for my feet to feel normal. Now, 90 minutes in Costco with Carol will give me sore feet (and a numb mind) and at her speed that's probably less than 200 yards. My feet are only good for an indicated half mile on the treadmill, no idea if that's accurate. I could walk miles until I got that inflammation in the tendons that stretch from the heel to forward foot, forget what it's called. It healed in a few months, but was still life changing.

Beautiful area, Bob. Beats Wisconsin, and Wisconsin beats Minnesota. Most places I've lived beat Minnesota for scenery. Motorcycle riding, too. Hiking... nowhere close to me.

More fun at least. When I change parts on anything I usually find something else that needs fixing.
