Today was an enjoy the air conditioning day. Brought Carol, a long time lady friend, to the house this morning, made tacos, stuffed mild hot peppers, and with all those beautiful tomatoes in the garden, had to do a bacon-tomato sandwich on the side. Haven't seen Carol eat that much in a long time, but I'm gonna brag a bit and say everything turned out exceptionally tasty. We spent the day binging all 6 episodes of Dark Wind (based on Tony Hillerman's Navaho reservation cop books), nice to feel rested tonight instead of worn out.

Tried to start her car when I picked her up, thought it would be a good idea to give it some exercise after 9 months indoors. Not even a dash light. Had to hook a lithium jumper battery on it to get the smart (is it smart if it won't try to charge a battery with under 7V?) going. When I took her home about 8 hours later it still wouldn't start, but the little lithium jumper fired it up. Still has cold ac at least. Told her to let it charge 24 hours, maybe we can save it, I've had them that bad that lasted a few more years. After my trucks, that Accord feels like it was made for 7 year olds. I wonder if Lou has ever managed to get in one.

Considering what some of those go for (or ask for), that seemed like a reasonable price. NIce to get a price drop off that.

 

BC Rich guitar priced are all over the map. Their Chinese stuff if the stuff of nightmares. Their American shop is amazing, but expensive. My black one is a reworked Chinese model that's pure bliss. This is an upscale Korean model. Both are at the top of their price range
