Well, time for the IT thinking caps. Turned on my laptop and it is stuck in 'preparing automatic repair' mode. Windows 10.

Took battery out, unplugged as recommended...no change.

if I lose my **** capabilities Bill Gates will hear about this.

Not much going on. Paula has been down for the count since Wednesday. Friday afternoon, changed the tires on the truck to winters. Yesterday, went for a drive and walk for chickens. Shot at 3, got 1, saw a total of 7.
Today, not sure where it will lead.
How about you?

Living the life of the bachelor, drink all day, fix food, vacuum, dust, drink more, cook food, clean the kitchen, drink with the neighbors, use binoculars to see if the chick jogging in the street looks good, drink more….

EDIT: I put the lawn tractor on the table lift for end of season maintenance. Pulling off the stupid Deere Quick change oil system that actually only changes 1/3 of the oil. Going with a regular fill/drain system with filter.

How old is the Laptop ?
Many reasons I like Desktops, faster in most cases, easier to replace parts
Laptop you can put a new hard drive in, they have made that easier
For me it all depends upon the age of the device

There goes all your ****. You might try unplugging the HD and plugging it back in. Sometimes you can put the HD in your freezer until it is cold soaked and plug it back in and they will work. These are emergency measures only.
