Humping freight for 40 years I should have the no problem with a 4-5 mile walk with some crooked sticks and a bouncy ball. But I usually take advantage of modern conveniences. When it’s 18 holes instead of 9.

Got most of my tasks done today.... thinking of riding up north to visit close friends at their lake house. Be 2-1/2 hr one way.... plan to ride up, visit for couple hours and ride back. Just for something to do.

I have the smoker all setup for tomorrow. The brisket will be pulled from the fridge at 0600, give it a proper seasoning and warm it until 0800 where it will be put in the smoker. I’ll run it on purely “smoke” which is about 180° but prior to heading out to the ball field for the Rangers-Twins game, I’ll run it up to 200°. Game starts at 13:00.
