Damn, sorry to hear about ZZ Top. I am seeing them next friday with the current rendition of Skynyrd. Oh well, It will be a good time, regardless.

Next Wednesday ZZ is playing about a half mile up the road from my office at a small venue in Port Chester called the Capitol .

I’d go see them Brian. We saw them in Dallas a few years ago at an outdoor venue where Cheap Trick and Bad Co. (with Paul Rogers) opened for them. Enjoyed the show.

I’ve heard that the all time groupie for ZZ was a guy who used to post here named Hagger, who, according to his memory, saw them 377 times. Not sure how much truth there is to that as Hagger was a pretty heavy drinker.

Planning on it Russ. This would be an outdoor venue as well, it's small, but good. It's an upstate venue, called **** and has some pretty big names come through on occasion. We saw Stapleton there about a year ago, Dave Matthews is there often, but I'm not much of a fan.

It's been a running joke because we bought 8 tickets when the concert was announced and kind of forgot about it until recently. I've been struggling to put together enough guys who can make the ride up for a Friday concert...so I've got a real melting pot of characters going at this point.

Bill, I will be anticipating plenty of debauchery and mischief. Sorry you had to walk out.

Value to be determined by seller-buyer Clint. Perhaps if you could provide some context, I can direct to you the appropriate sub-forum. Those appear to be pipes for a 1976 AMF shovel and a quick search by PN shows that a setup like that recently sold on eBay for $899.00.
