yup that’s a hurricane a coming

 

keep us posted, by brother’s house is in Venice, sister’s condo is in Sarasota.

 

My parents just left Venice a couple years ago, they were over by the Crows Nest in the condos.

Now they are down on Manasota Key in Englewood. Somehow the house made it thru Ian ok.... this should be an easy one. Hopefully

 

Vehicles in secure locations. Garage door stiffener locked in on the extra wide door. All we can do now is wait it out and hope the power stays on. It has shifted west some so we will be even further away from the hurricane force winds. They are saying we will get 50-60 MPH winds now. It just came a squall and dropped some rain but now it seems to have quit.

 

Lock er down and head for Taz & Paula’s ,they’re having a party 🎉

Taz just dropped by for a short visit on his way home from work. He picked up a Chevy S-10 truck for a work commuter. He was showing it off.

Got it running today. Just a bit of carburetor and water pump rehab. I grew up on a tractor like this. One Dad had in storage.
