Scary how fast that can happen. Lot of people didn't make it to our age even just 100 years ago. I wouldn't have made it this long without medical help, been several times I would have died just letting the body try to save itself. Most of them weren't much fun, either. Had a doc in Vietnam see a scar and asked if that was done in Wheaton, IL. When I said yes, he said he was one of a few docs in the operating room that day, said it was so unique none of them had encountered that circumstance before. I was just hours away from death on that one.

 

The little Horned Toads of TCU successfully fended off the big meanies at University of Texas and are now Big 12 Champs. Gonna take on the Baptists in Waco next.

Tomorrow, the Wowboys face the Packers in Green Bay. We’ll see who wants it more.

Good morning all. It is beautiful outside this morning but there is a small burst of bad weather headed straight for us off the gulf that looks like it is about 3 square miles in area. Scooby could hear it coming and suddenly wanted in. I pulled up the radar and there it was. She is better than the radar. I think the Bucs are in Germany to play the Seahawks. Not sure why they find it necessary to go overseas to play a game. It must be lucrative.
