be careful just the same. A close hurricane can suck just as much as having an eye pass over.

Afternoon Woodrow's.....
Man these temps are better than the record we set Sat. To hell with that.
I'm fixing to fire Pearl up for a quick run....

Afternoon, Jack and Tick.
Got up to 80° here today. Cloudy, it may rain some more. In the 90s rest of the week.

How many times does make? If it hits you like me, you'll be tired for a few weeks. I could work through it, do what I wanted or needed, just always looked forward to my recliner. Hmm, do that now anyway, guess old age is a little like covid.
My Covid fever lasted 6 hours. I had no other symptoms for a couple days. Then I had a mild cold for about three days and it was pretty much over. That was the first original virus.
Looks like we got ourselves a hurricane headed us again. If the path holds we will be fine.

Too many digging projects at once. This is the worst one, replacing two basement window wells. Front of the house has a 3' border of crushed granite, up to egg sized, that I'm digging out and using for fill around the window wells, and will cover that with 2 or 3" of dirt. I hate crushed granite, gets out in the grass, can't shovel the stuff, been raking it onto a flat nosed shovel, takes a half hour to get half a garden cart load, maybe 100-150 lbs. Considering how much I've got done and how much is left, if I do 3 or 4 loads a day I won't finish till late next week. Slow going and hard on the old guy. Next door neighbor's guy friend is a landscaper, asked him if there was a better way to move it, and he said that's the hardest stuff he ever works on, pretty much what I'm doing is how it's done.
I now have a choice, another load of rock, or the easier dirt project before it gets dark, or the recliner and another episode of Man in the High Castle?
