I don’t know where I got the notion my life was not going to have set backs and frustration, maybe my mother, I’ll blame her I guess.
I’m finishing the last item on my 60k driveline service, that would be changing the front differential fluid. All is going well, no broken bolts, new gasket in hand, correct replacement fluid, what could go wrong ? 🤔. Well I’ll tell you. Diff cover on , all surfaces clean, lock-tite on the bolts. All that’s left is to refill, that’s when the tip of my suction/ filling tool comes off inside the differential , that’s right, take it back apart, retrieve the tip , and start over Mom, you lied to me, how could you 🥲

Well, I can tell you the locktite is no longer of any significants on all the bottom bolts.
I ran out of brake clean.

Good late afternoon all. It was a good day of work and now the week is done. Buffalo shrimp and sea scallops along with Happy Hour.

Granddaughter turned 7 yesterday, her house ac wasn't doing a good job in this heat, warm afternoon there. My truck's thermo meter said 96. Her parents probably didn't think about this when they put the big addition on the house last year, next ac replacement will need to be bigger. Carol went with me, first time she's seen the Ram, likes it. Finally cooled off today, much cooler at 85. Not cool enough...

Another errand on the scooter this morning, early enough to be about a perfect riding temp. Wish there was someplace interesting to ride to that didn't take most of the day.

Congratulations Chris. That's a real accomplishment.

Chuck, since I have been twisting wrench's it seems like forever, I can't tell you how many times I've had to go back in to look for something or dig out something I dropped. Welcome to the club!

You know the answer to this Chuck. Do it right or it will bite you in the ***. Probably at the most inopportune time somewhere along the highway on a Saturday outside of Atlanta.

That would be a misery if nothing went wrong mechanically. I've spent hours just sitting in line on Atlanta area highways, I'd never ride a motorcycle there.
