Well Jeff, I bought her a diamond and sapphire ring. I bought her a diamond and sapphire wedding ring way back then. So I thought a "smaller" one that is similar would be a nice reminder for her!! Besides, she does not like bikes the way I do!!

Nice, jewelry always works at my house. When we got married we were so broke we could not afford much in the ring department. Years later for an anniversary I decided it was time to get her a big rock. So I picked out a nice one and gave it to her. She looked it over and asked me where I got it. I could tell she did not like it for some reason. She took it back and got a smaller one that cost more.

Chris, do a BAAAAAARRRRRRNNN OUT

I have to head out to Cape Cod for a wedding tonight. I tried every which way to figure out how to take the bike but it's just not happening

Thinking about attempting an iron butt (the 1000 miles in 24) the following weekend. Just not sure if that's a good idea with it being a holiday weekend and all. Traffic could be a problem. I already got the route planned out, just need to figure out when. Maybe I'm just better off doing some more casual kubbing that weekend.

Made it to the doc on the 15th, x-ray revealed nuttin, I told him I felt something snap. He ordered an MRI stat and son-of-a-gun they got me in just after lunch! With the technology today I had results sent to my phone by 4 PM and the MRI shows a torn meniscus and tricompartmental chondromalacia. I tore my right one many years ago, they did surgery on it and it was a short recovery time compared to the lateral release surgery which took 4 months but I was younger then!
I see the doc next Monday the 21st to see what his recommendation will be.

I saw the doc yesterday, no surgery, give me 3 weeks to rebound from this and he will see what next step has to be. He asked where the leg brace they gave me last week was and I told him course you can't ride a motorcycle with a leg brace on and I made it clear you can't drive a truck with one on either! He told me it would probably be a good idea to wear it at least walking
around.. noted!

Meanwhile Gail was in the emergency room for the second time in three weeks which happened to be on the other end of the building my doctor was in. She has been suffering with terrible back pain and down her right side. X-rays show a fracture at the T-3 which wasn't there two weeks ago and a similar issue at L-4 or 3 I don't know for sure. She has an appointment Wed to see a surgeon to see how to proceed with this problem. So after 2 hrs for my appointment and another 3 1/2 hrs in the ER with her, yesterday sucked!

My problem seems minuscule to hers and I am hoping for some better news on Wed when I take her in to see the surgeon. The technology today they can do lot so I am crossing my fingers!

BTW I haven't had the bike out since the 11th, taking it easy to make sure I don't screw it up more. Sometimes I listen to half of what the doctor tells me.
i am in agreement. i sometimes listen to half of what the doc says. hope things get better for y'all real soon.

Nice Mick, economical and functional. I like yours better than the wood ones we built. Good job.

Message just came in telepathically for Mick, from Al. He advised trimming your excess rods.
