The picture belongs to Harley, but Page 23 is the TOAKS.
Surely this group can pull this off the ground, Wilbur.

How funny would it be for us to have a bunch of Page 23 plates from different states? May have to change the name from Woods to Page 23 Boyz.

Good morning all. I am down in St Pete at the bridge project. The project is essentially finished so not sure how many more times I will come here. I may have to quit billing the project soon. This may even by my last week here. I am only billable to this City project one day per week. When it ends I will be only on the County projects which is fine with me. The County project management program (contract) has expanded and I will be able to bill the time previously I spent on the City project. I still only work 3 days a week.

Everyone ride safe.

Carnivore is the best diet I have ever tried. Takes a day or 2 to adjust, but the results are real.

Right now I'm within 3 lbs of the weight I was in the pic below with Cool Hand Luke, which was taken not quite 3 yrs ago. No belly and feeling good. I plan on going maybe 5 lbs below that weight, and it will be ideal for me.
For at many years up until last November I would get on the carnivore regimen or what was called the Atkins plan, basically eliminating carbs in order to control my weight . I would start after the Super Bowl and stay on it until Thanksgiving. Between Thanksgiving and the Super Bowl it is very hard to avoid the bad foods. It always worked. I practiced the cheat day strategy too. While I always lost weight on the plan, each year I bottomed out at a few pounds heavier than the last. I was yoyoing up and down but inching up nonetheless. The cheat days eventually snowballed into cheat weekends. No carbs during the week then enjoy pizza, etc on the weekends. Of course always amnesty on vacation, and then there was long holiday weekends too.

When my heart issues started last November, I re-evaluated my diet. I had gotten way too heavy and even Atkins was not helping much, maybe 5-10 lbs then I would cheat enough on weekends to level off. I was eating mass quantities of chicken wings, BBQ and all things meat and apparently that was clogging my arteries something fierce. I ended up with 95% blockage in the window maker artery and almost checked out.

I changed my diet completely. No more pork, beef, fried food, butter, lard, processed foods, sweets, bread, or pasta. Also I reduced portions significantly. NO more seconds at every meal. I think the portion control is key. Yes, I was always hungry but I knew I had to be hungry all the time in order to accomplish the goal. They fixed my heart and I fixed my diet. I decided there would be no more cheat days and I have stuck to it. I had one spoon full of dressing and mashed potatoes last Thanksgiving and that was the last time I had something like that. Not even any pecan pie for the first time in my life I think. The results are me losing over 70 lbs. in six months. I was 267.7 at my peak and now I bounce around 195.

Through it all what I have learned is it is amazing how little I need to eat at my age and activity level. I eat only lean chicken, turkey and or fish and only a few ounces per meal. I eat lots of veggies. I do not necessarily try to avoid carbs, I eat all kinds of beans, red, black, pinto, white, lima, black-eyed peas, etc. Again small portions. I eat nuts for snacks or olives or carrots. I only use olive oil when oil is needed. This has worked for me and I will never be fat again. I feel so much better.
