Halito Mick, Greg, Bill, Chuck, Woods. Happy first day of golf to you hackers out there!! Hope you have a good day and don't lose your *****!!
Gonna be rainy day later today..... and tomorrow. More water! Ugh!!
Busy week for me.... heading up north wednesday morning for Service Officer Training for the Legion Wed, Thur, Fri. Friday is our 50th wedding anniversary. So come home Friday afternoon and take wifey out for dinner. Then head back up north for Jack Pine Enduro. Been doing the Jack Pine race for almost 50 years as well. Raced it, helped set up trail, check points, and now just road crossings. Wifey a little peeved I'm doing this, but she knows what it means to me as well. But what she doesn't know is I have a surprise dinner set up for her next week. Will have both kids, any and all grandkids that wanna come, and a couple we have known for over 50 years and have done many things with. She is not expecting anything yet.... but I did buy her a sapphire and diamond ring to match her wedding band. So I'm hoping for some spousal points for this!!
So hope y'all have a good day. Remember, I'm pulling for ya....we're all in this together.

Use those points quickly Denny. They have a short expiration date.

;Good morning all. The gig went well yesterday but it was sure hot. We survived and so did those that came out and enjoyed the show. Golf today in the same heat. Crazy I know but it's Florida and it's summer, I have to do something, Everyone ride safe.

Morning, morning Woods.

Mick, that is a beautiful bike but they sure are proud of it.

Supposed to have a “cool front” today that will knock our temps back to a mere 100° instead of 107° like yesterday.

The temps aren't so bad. My office is well insulated and the AC is working well enough I almost have to wear a sweater. I'm going to omit the fact I was out on a scene and thought I'd die after two hours.

I had a teacher that said hot coffee in the summer and cold in the winter. Make the body werk. Lol.

There's an old school thought behind that. I've heard it as well. Researching it, there might be something to it. Cold water on a hot day takes longer to hydrate you than room temp water. But ideally, you want the drink to be as close to body temp as possible, no matter the outside temps. Warm drinks help the body digest food better during a meal, for instance.
