TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
Evening gents! Just spent a little time with the PNW Jeep club. About 40 Jeeps showed up and we all paraded (is that a word?) to the car show where we paid our entrance fee and took the joint over. It was pretty comical. Nice folks.
I mentioned the car show a while back. It's like stepping back into a simpler world. Girls with short shorts and cowboy boots, awesome cars, lots of families, and everyone stops in their tracks and removes their hats when a gal sang the National Anthem. The only thing missing was us all shooting our guns in the air when it ended.
The Jeeps are lined up in the back row. You can see our little yellow Jeep in the middle. It was, undoubtedly, the least expensive Jeep in the lineup by a LOT. Those Jeep nuts take the **** very seriously. Some big bucks spent on a Hemi Jeep and that's just the starting point. I would imagine many spent more on their suspensions than my whole Jeep cost me.

Temp was bearable but the humidity wasn't, another day inside.
Started work again yesterday on the big pile of tree cadaver from last year's big cottenwood cut down, didn't get much done with 2 grandkids having fun out there. I estimate I picked 40-50 lbs of veggies the last couple days, but over half that weight was cucumbers that go to other people, I don't like them. Sure do like the tomatoes, though. Supposed to rain Monday, be a good day to replenish the stock of bacon, that's been going fast with fresh tomatoes every day.
Amusing video on youtube today, a Ukranian drone watched a (vodka loving?) Russian tank driver run a T90 off a cliff that looked around 30-40 ft high. Another drone dropped a shell through a top hatch, beautiful fireworks. Didn't see anyone get out, but I suspect that was a hell of a rough landing for the crew.

Man you got that right Rob. I haven't fallen into the trap, but Jeeps make Harleys seem like a bargain.
Just finished cleaning/waxing the acoustics. I put some leather conditioner on the les paul case and it changed colors 😲 it's either dark purple or light black
