Evening Woodsnitzes. We hit 107° this evening at 6 PM. No relief in sight for temperatures or my water bill. Much pool time and cool beverages. The neighborhood ne’er-do-wells go back to school tomorrow.

Wife went to a funeral today.
The deceased drowned in her own pool.
she never learned how to swim. When she went in (to save her autistic teenage son )
in the deep end that was it. She was revived but apparently not in time.

It must be tough deciding whether to sit in the pool with a cold adult beverage or sit inside in the AC watching the big screen with an adult beverage

Yeah, if you’re gonna go in the deep end, better know how to swim.

The pool usually wins. We are in it daily. Once the heat breaks, I’ll be installing my outdoor TV for football season.

I know how to swim. But not well enough to span an open area. I mean I d prolly make it. But my self preservation DNA kicks in everytime and says nay nay
