Afternoon Woods, I thought this was going to be a nice relaxing day but noooooo….. Trish says “ there’s noise coming from the left front wheel of my car “. For Pete’s sake, I just did rear brake pads & rotors last week . But, I’ve learned, if she says it’s making noise, I’d better check it. Sure enough,…front left side gone. Well pads and rotors, Done 🥵.
It’s beer and cigar time now .
I hate that anymore. Used to do brakes, oil/filter and other small jobs on our vehicles years ago. Anymore, I'm not sure I would do brakes! I used to was a mechanic, so I have the tools, and some knowledge, but these new cars and trucks....ugh!!
And if you think I’m done ranting……..you’re crazy, I’m collecting supplies to service the driveline on my Ram, I just paid $47.50 a quart for transfer case fluid ( special Borg/ Warner 44-46 ) for Ram . I’m nearing a grand for fluids & filters (parts only) I have to do all the work .

Grease them! I did brakes for a country gall who got tired of the noise and COVERED her rotors in grease. It was a mess.
And I thought Harley parts were over priced, they don’t hold a candle to Ram/ MOPAR !.
Toyota is pretty high as well. Our 30,000 service is coming up and our service agreement doesnt cover everything. My portion will be $600. I dont feel like doing the work so ya gotta pay.
