Afternoon Brian....

You'll read some negative bullshit on it like every diet out there, but it works is all I know.

First few days takes some adjustment, then it's easy peasy. Beer drinkers won't like it because zero carbs allowed.

Whiskey is OK tho since it has no carbs or added sugar. There's the whole well yea, but whiskey is made from plant based foods, but again, zero carbs....

At least something likes the heat, kale & Swiss chard are growing faster than I've been cleaning and cooking them for the freezer. Picked a bunch yesterday and again today, and still looks just as packed. This one 40" x 8' bed is producing more than I previously grew in about 3 times the space in the ground, and by this time of year unprotected greens in the ground would be ravaged by critters, these aren't bothered much, a few bird nibbles. Still plan to make some bug screen covers for the beds with greens in them.

Looking across three raised beds, about a dozen different kinds of veggies. The plan is 5 beds in this row, and another 5 to the left. Need to resume
building when the weather cools. And figure out where to get more dirt, don't want any from MN farmland, full of pesticides. Build a bomb shelter
under the garden?

Not much carbs in kale, Swiss chard and tomatoes, too. At least one meal a day in season is a big salad of those. With a little bacon or ham, of course.

How rude of me... Good afternoon all

Pretty much what I heard as well, takes a couple days for the stomach to get used to it, but then after that you're golden. It's impossible to over eat basically, cause anybody can sit there and eat a large order of fries or a loaf of italian bread dipped in oil... but your body sends that "full" signal when it's all meat instead. I'm trying to get bigger right now so I don't mind the carbs, but I'm sure I could grow going carnivore too. One of these days. Good to know theres a loophole for whiskey though.

Dinner tonight, ribeyes from a farm we stopped by upsate on Sunday. They actually have a smokehouse there that we've never been to, so we ate and it was so good I figured I had to buy some steak....they're a little on the thin side for me but I couldn't say no. I salted it yesterday for a reverse sear today. Going to make a sweet potato hash with peppers and onions to go with it

I’m on the beer and cigars with a whiskey chaser diet, coupled with strenuous physical labor. Haven’t gained a pound in years .

I may have used up all my luck for today, so tomorrow I’m going to try and find some cut proof chaps to wear before I do anymore chainsaw work 😳.
