Put new blades on the mower this morning and finished up last week's mowing. Been dry enough what had been mowed barely grew. Nearly all riding tractor style mowers use the same front axle spindle design, even JDeere, and they're so weak it's ridiculous. Just got a set of new ones from Amazon 3 days ago, good thing, when I got done mowing one had bent outwards so bad the left wheel was rubbing the frame with the right turned maybe 10 degrees, kinda forked maneuverability. I've had them off to unbend them before, but it must soften the metal because they got so bad they'd bend in a tight turn. Fortunately Amazon sells them in pairs at half or less the price for a single oem axle. I may try straightening the originals and welding some braces on them. Amazon sells hundreds of them, so it isn't just me.

Didn't quite reach 90, but the humidity encouraged me to put the mower back in the shed by 12:30 and start a movie with Olga Kurylenko. She has a nice behind, I'll finish it this evening.
got a pic of the axle mike??

Evening gents! A sweltering 90 degrees out there. I am sipping Margaritas in the great air conditioned indoors and awaiting chicken tacos for taco tuesday.

Evenin Woods! Been a crazy week or so. Heavy rain on Weds filled one of our basement window wells to the point you could see 10-12" of water up against the window. Benjamin & I did the bucket brigade routine to empty the window well, then we join the gals using shop vacs to get all of the water off the floor in that room (Beth's office). I put a piece of pvc pipe on the edge of the well cover as there was a gap about an inch or more that allowed the water to get in.

The same day & storm, friends of ours 2 blocks away were having their roof replaced from the hail storm in June. The water got into the house and their ceiling collapsed in 3 rooms. We did a little bit to help them but a family of 6 plus 6 guys from the roofing crew made it all a bit crowded and not much we could do. We did let them park their pop-up camper & a couple bicycles in Greg's stall of our garage so they have room to move stuff out of their house. We also had them over for a BBQ on Sunday. 4 days into hotel life and they appreciated a sit down meal in a house.

No luck on the employment hunt but I have an interview Thursday for the Town of Frederick. [fingers crossed]

I started filling out the application for SS disability but have a few questions & need to consult a lawyer...if i can find one that does free consultations for this.

My Pop is getting his tiny home ready for move in down in Fountain. He might be up this weekend for a visit.

I didn't back read, hope everyone is well.

One can only assume. I saw a new BMW I8 in the neighborhood, so those damn Russians are at it again. As for me, today was basically me apologizing to all my clients for our shortcomings. Can't provide labor, product, or results in a timely manner. It's not what I am used to.
