Morning Woods from lazy camp, where there is really nothing to report except we should be in the mid-90s today. Granddaughters will be rolling in this afternoon and evening.

First thing this morning, wE nEeD thE dRoNE! There was a stolen vehicle and it was pinging in an area. They drove down and saw nothing and thought the drone would be better. I flew several square miles. Nothing. But I also tried out my little one that fits in the camera bag and rides on my bike. It's cute!

$970. The controlled has a built in HD screen, otherwise, they are less expensive models. I'm trying to get a couple of these because they're small and fast to deploy. This whole system costs less than my big drone's batteries, which run $1000.

I have it sitting here charging currently. Here is the controller too. It's a smaller, more quiet and cheaper system. It does not have FLIR, but I have the big one that does. The batteries are only $100 for this one too, so getting more should be easy enough to swing I think. I'm also looking into the $3-4k Mavic with FLIR and getting one or two of those instead. Obviously, this is not my money being spent lol. The boss wants what he wants. No one but me can legally fly them currently, but I'm trying to get other trained and licensed. These little one are super easy to fly. The big one is not as easy.

I have absolutely no need for one of those but for some reason I want one anyway. I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to, I guess.
