Dad had a company truck f150. V8 auto with the side mirrors with metal tube brackets. I think it was a 74.

I learned on a ‘74 Ford F-100 with a straight 6 and 3 on the tree. I had a full license at age 15 due to having to take care of my FFA cattle projects.

I think I drove a 3 on the tree once. What a PITA.

I have had far fewer automatics than manual shifters. I didn’t own an auto until 1995 I think.

I learned from a young age on farm pick-ups. They had four on the floor, but the shift lever was about 3 ft long. LOL
Lollie says Hi. Her older brother Pepe is just "tolerating" her.

Dad had an 83 with a 3 on the tree. Going to hockey, I would have to sit in the middle. He would drive and I would shift.
I learned to drive a standard on a 76 ford F250, club cab (4 doors) with a long box. Round and round I would go in the shop yard.
