Sam's Club today, avocados more than doubled in price, meat's up, but $5 off on spam and milk was almost half what it was last week at the grocery store. Spent just about what I was averaging per month when I retired, but that included meat I usually stock up on less than once a month and a pair of Sketchers shoes. I'd guess most folks would have trouble living on my income, and how would anyone making less than $40K a year ever be able to buy a house.
Got a ride in SIL's Mercedes suv, new to him, if it didn't have any logos on it I wouldn't have known if it was a Ford, Toyota or what it was. "What kind was it"? "I dunno know, it was black"...
Right now the only thing I'd trade my Ram for would be a newer one. SIL likes it, too. He said something I hadn't thought of, my oldest grandson is two years from wanting his own car, and that old Silverado might be a good one for him. I could borrow my SIL's Mercedes if the Ram has a problem, he has two cars, besides Audrey's Tesla. Tell him, you were the one that said my old truck would be a good starter for the kid...

Nuts, forgot that today. Granddaughter did a good job of it yesterday. Better get out there before the sun goes down.

The outdoor plants are gonna get a good watering here in a few minutes, big storm moving in. Getting noisy out there.
