Dignity and respect...that's what we want. I think Rob needs to investigate.

Good morning all. I thought for sure that article would be about strippers striking because men were taking their jobs.

Headed out for some breakfast and kubbing. My good bro Taz called last evening and wanted to ride this morning. Everyone ride safe.

Halito Woods. Friday at last?! Hot and rainy for next couple days...then hot couple days..... I'll take it.
I try ( I said I TRY!!) to obey the speed limits and not do anything to get pulled over. But the one thing I learned over 50 years ago was shut everything down, place hands where they can be seen, and wait for officer. And I always call him sir and am polite. And always tell them where my insurance license etc is and the reach for them. Knock on wood the vast majority of the time I got a warning. And if i get pulled over, I probably deserve it!!
Hey, y'all have a good one.....gonna lurk for a few then head off to do my thing at Post. Remember, I'm pulling for ya....we're all in this together!

Mick, tell us how (overall) , your ride of epic proportion was on the Road King. Was the bike comfortable, did it perform well?, are there any things you bring or do differently next time to make the trip better?. Ie: different gear …..

Chuck, it was great save for the shifter issues. I would use my airhawk seat pad which I neglected to bring.

was the shifter loose from the start and just gave out or did it work loose along the way?. Could you not have bought another air hawk or do you have two already?.

You know, If Sherri had been along for the ride and you happened to have passed a antique shop , you may have dropped a c-note or two

The linkage went first, Chuck. Zip ties were my friend. Bought a new one in Bakersfield, CA. The splined shaft for shifter pegs gave up the ghost and was replaced in Grand Junction, CO.

The temp fix in the hotel parking lot was an engineering marvel.

I will be taking note of your experience and ordering the linkage with heim joints at either end .
