My brother had a bought new '81 Capri with the turbo 4. Ok car, but then he took off the cat, adjusted the waste gate to 8 psi (4 psi stock) and added water injection so it wouldn't sound like a machine gun at boost. Stock was retarded, he changed that to about 10 degree advanced. He could stay ahead of a 454 Corvette up to about 80. Excellent handling, too, one of the most fun cars to drive I've ever driven. You knew immediately when the water ran out.

I’ve been happier I’ll tell you that. Lol.

Managed to find the decision letter on my IU. Very last sentence, Veteran meets IU qualifications: Denied. This should be an easy rebuttal

Good luck on that John. The VA here has been awful to deal with. They smile while telling me to fk off. Hope it goes better for you.
Gonna sneak out of here in a few minutes and hopefully have a package waiting at the house. Then I take my forks to my indie for surgery. Gonna replace the fuel system in the Springer tomorrow after I get back from San Angelo. Then I ride this weekend with TLT to the dealer to get her 5k done at 6k... Then I work a wedding Saturday evening for a little cash and Sunday, I rest.
So, I'll report back at some point. Until then, farewell.

OL has been through the same thing with them. She says if you tell them to put it before a judge, they change tunes

Mick..... we moved to the country in 1960. I did walk the proverbial mile to a one room school house that year. Can't say it was uphill both ways as the road was pretty much flat and straight! That was an experience for a city boy..... but I caught up and managed to move on! The next year they closed down all the one room schools in the district and we were bused 8 miles to town to the "big" schools.
John.... I helped one of our Legion members with the VA to get some help. I went back to gather more information for another issue and asked if I could get VA benefits. They told me no. I spent 8 years in the Army Reserves and unless my records had any reports of injury or problems, they would not consider me for any VA benefits. I did lose my hearing from standing on top of an 8" howitzer shooting those big projo's. Said they could not tell if any health issues were due to Reserves or civilian life. Bummer.
