a little late to the party but I saved her a seat.

 

Here's the info I got on it. I'm an Investigator. A Detective, if you will. I also handle crime and evidence. The Sheriff wants an Evidence person 5 days week. This was a last minute change. So, I made it clear I'm tired of doing Evidence and I don't want to do it anymore. Basically, they are looking at putting a civilian (how gets paid a lot less) to handle the administrative side. When that happens, I just do investigation full time instead, and at that point, possibly go back to the 10s I like.

Lastly, because I'm the only Drone Pilot he wants me here as much as possible. Which is also BS because I'm on call 24/7 and always deploy. So it may be temporary, may not. Either way, I'm pissed because I feel like I just get taken advantage of.

Yeah, changing hours can really change your outlook on a job. They keep changing hours at the plant to try and overcome the shortage of man power. They're so short, they hired 17 and started an 18 month training program. The plant shuts down in 28

 

Mon-Thurs 10 hours. Fri Sat Sun off. It was great because I plan all my Dr appointments on Fridays.
What pisses me off the most is, I fought for several years to get a better schedule and they took it away when there was no reason to. No shortage, no work not getting done. And, to top it all off, the Sheriff is using my work truck because he destroyed his on a deer, so I'm in my own truck because I have nothing to drive. I swear, I hate this place sometimes.
