I pulled the rear wheel off. Hopefully tomorrow, I'll be able to get over and get the tire swapped out.
I had a tool made to replace the bushings that support the shaft . If those are warn out (again) you can barrow it to replace them.

When doing my bars today, I removed the outer fairing and the headlight to access the wiring easier. I routed the wiring from the bars down through the hole in the frame and into the fairing. It looks very clean.
One of the bolts for the headlight was a pain though. They screw into threaded bungs in the steel bracket. The bung slipped. Getting that thing out was a nightmare. I did and replaced it with a flanged bolt and nut. It was easy enough to get a wrench on the nut to tighten it.

Chuck, I pulled a you today. I was getting ready to head to the store and my truck was running and the door was open. I got in and started backing out and there was a freaking hornet in the truck. I got it out without being stung a dozen times at least.
